The kids are driving me crazy, I'm losing my patience and I fall asleep at night wondering where I'm going to find patience for another day.<\/em> To which she responded with a statement that I have not been able to forget,<\/em> \u00abBabies cry, it's how they communicate. Little children protest, and teenagers complain.<\/em> Then the moms say the words \u201cfuck shit\u201d on their breath before each response. It's how we communicate?<\/em> But guess what Constance? It's better than silence.<\/em> A house full of screaming kids and fighting teenagers and parents who talk back is healthy for me.<\/em> It is the silent children, the fearful children, the teenagers who do not come home, and the parents who are not in communication with their children that worry me.<\/em> And children don't drive you crazy, you were already crazy.
