This intervention model comes from the <strong>USA<\/strong> , from the research of <strong>Dr. Ivar Lovaas, in the Department of Psychology at the University of Los Angeles-California<\/strong> (1987). Dr. Ivar Lovaas demonstrated that behaviors in children with autism could be modified through the ABA method. In his study he showed that the majority of children who receive ABA treatment could benefit significantly, even losing the diagnosis after years of therapy.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p class=\"translation-block\">For us, the ABA intervention model is not only our starting point, it is <strong>the path we follow through the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cristinaorozbajo.com\/como-esta-programado-el-metodo-vicon-porque-la-metodologia-aba\/\">VICON Method<\/a> videos<\/strong> . We use this <strong>planned, evolutionary and tested<\/strong> therapeutic program with a history of more than half a century of application in the learning of children with disabilities, learning difficulties and, specifically, autism.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p class=\"translation-block\">Nos encanta esta metodolog\u00eda porque es <strong>integral,<\/strong> Trabaja todas las \u00e1reas de aprendizaje. Seguimos esta metodolog\u00eda <em>por qu\u00e9 es y nos conduce al \u00e9xito<\/em>, poniendo todo su hincapi\u00e9 en que la labor del terapeuta, los ajustes, las din\u00e1micas que fortalecen este aprendizaje y c\u00f3mo tienen que acompa\u00f1ar al ni\u00f1o y adaptarse a \u00e9l en todo momento.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p class=\"translation-block\">The <strong>evolution of a case<\/strong> following an ABA methodology is <em>evaluated daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annually<\/em> by a team of at least 5 professionals and the family unit. Which gives us a good idea of the control over the <strong>objectives<\/strong> , the <strong>procedures<\/strong> that are working, that are not working and all the small and large adjustments that have to be made in each particular case.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p class=\"translation-block\">It is always a child-centered therapy and although we are an online tool we have complemented this program with daily, weekly and post-video <strong>therapeutic support<\/strong> , phase or level to adjust the <strong>VICON Method program<\/strong> to the learning styles of each child, to family dynamics that are not always the same, to the child's preferences, following a specific program but in an individualized way.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p class=\"translation-block\">En la programaci\u00f3n ABA nos permite dividir en peque\u00f1os pasos todas las habilidades evolutivas y cognitivas necesarias para el crecimiento en cualquier \u00e1rea de la persona. Esto nos da la seguridad de que <strong>cada ni\u00f1o evolucione con respecto a su nivel y que no nos saltamos pasos intermedios suponiendo que ya est\u00e1n desarrollados<\/strong>, por otro lado aunque nos encontremos con aspectos desarrollados el pasar por ellos nos permite potenciarlos y fortalecerlos para asegurarnos un correcto crecimiento y una fortaleza en el aprendizaje a medio y largo plazo.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p class=\"translation-block\">An ABA model is made up of the following skills:<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p class=\"translation-block\">Por supuesto aunque cada habilidad tiene dentro del modelo ABA su programa concreto la transversalidad de cada una de estas destrezas ti\u00f1e toda la terapia e involucra a much\u00edsimas de ellas en una s\u00f3lo actividad.
